Anatomy of the Mayhem Academy

The Mayhem Academy is a marvel of modern architectural design and engineering. Designed and overseen by internationally famed architect, JaaKa Macomba, the 2,000 foot tall, 170 floor academy is the tallest and the most futuristic building to currently grace the planet Earth.

In addition to being visually pleasing, the Mayhem Academy is one of the safest structures on the planet. It’s highly durable frame is comprised of uargantium; the strongest earth metal known to man. The outer shell of the Academy is comprised of the lightweight and yet extremely durable metal; maragium.

All the academy’s windows are made up of syntheclear. This is a nearly indestructible glass/plastic hybrid that is nearly paper thin but has the comparable strength of a piece of glass that is 10 inches thick. The entire structure of this incredible complex is supported by flexible underground stabilizers which allow it to withstand the usually devastating vibrations of a 7.9 earthquake or that of other ground shattering events with only minor damage.

However, merely building a better, safer school was just the beginning. Since this school was to become the students’ home away from home, the planners had to essentailly build a small city within the walls of the Academy. It had to be large enough to not only hold the various administrative offices, classrooms, and the quarters for the entire student body and staff but it had to hold the majority of the modern conveniences that the student body would require from the outside world.

This was no small task. Although several proposed ideas were eventually eliminated from the final design, the circumference of the academy saucer is still a mind staggering 7 miles in diameter and nearly 4 miles in circumference.

Inside the saucer section of the Academy is the official Ja’kirate Battle League’s holographic arena, 4 ja’kirate training rooms, 3 regulation sized basketball courts, a regulation sized NFL football field, 3 tennis courts, a baseball field, 2 oylmpic sized swimming pools, an entire floor dedicated to vintage video games, and a full scale shopping mall(including a movie theater and various restaurants).
